What are your fees?

I charge $125 for each 50 minute therapy session. For those in need, I do offer a sliding scale fee. I would be happy to discuss payment with you during our phone consultation.

Do you take insurance?

I am in network with Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Oxford Health Plans, Oscar, and UHC Student Resources. If you would like to use your healthcare benefits for services I will have my billing department collect your insurance information and verify your coverage prior to our first appointment.

If you have out-of-network benefits that you would like to use I encourage you to contact your insurance company to learn their requirements. I can provide you with a Superbill to provide your insurance company to see if they will reimburse you for the cost of therapy.

What will we discuss during the phone consultation?

It is important to find a therapist who will be a good fit for you. We will spend about 15 minutes talking during the phone consultation to get to know each other, answer any questions you have for me, and discuss your main concerns and goals. I want to make sure that I have the experience and expertise to be able to address your particular needs, and I want you to feel comfortable with me.

How does online counseling work?

I will email you my intake paperwork through a secure, online portal. I use my portal to schedule all appointments, and you can receive email and text reminders prior to scheduled sessions. At the time of each scheduled appointment you will simply click on the link emailed to you, and we will connect face to face using a HIPAA compliant video connection.
